Full Moon walk with a Doc
Location: Turville Point Conservation Park, 1156 Olin-Turville Court; meet in the parking lot at the corner of John Nolen Drive and Olin Ave.

Topic: Organ donation and transplantation; The Gift of Life.

Physician: Tony D'Alessandro, MD. Dr. D'Alessandro is the Medical Director of the UW Health Organ Procurement Organization and the Director of the Adult and Pediatric Liver, and Multi-organ Transplant Program at UW Hospital and Clinics.

Join Dr. D'Alessandro for a Full Moon Walk with a Doc: Walk for Life. He will share the facts about organ donation, and de-bunk myths related to being an organ donor. He'll share the latest facts about donation and transplantation and updated everyone on Wisconsin's new organ donor registry at YesIWillWisconsin.com. Organ donor family members, living donors and transplant recipients will join Dr. D'Alessandro, and will share their personal stories as we enjoy the beauty of Turville Woods lit by the biggest orange dot ever!

FREE yoga in the Olin Park Pavilion
This session focuses on yoga to enhance physical pursuits, whatever they may be. Working with strength and stability balanced with freedom of movement.

Bring your mat if you have one, but mats & props are available.

Samantha Kellogg is trained in the Alignment Yoga method with an interest in cycling, running, stand-up paddling and integrating yoga into other sports. This class is open to all levels and experiences, focusing on yoga fundamentals, breathing, asana postures and bringing people together to practice in a beautiful location.

Bike-with-a-Cop Neighborhood Ride
On Sunday, June 24, meet at the Baha'i Center on Lakeside Street at 3 p.m. to join police officers from the South Madison Station for a neighborhood bike ride. In past years, Bay Creek has had the highest rate of participation among the several city neighborhoods where these rides take place.

Kids Hike: Inspire the Next Aldo Leopold – Madison Police Sergeant and park enthusiast Jim Dexheimer leads a walk designed to pique the interest of the little ones and inspire future conservationists.

Friends of Olin Turville (FOOT) is pleased to invite the community to a series of spring concerts and guided “Woods Walks” in Olin and Turville Parks. Free and open to the public, these events will provide unique opportunities to experience these beautiful parks throughout May. The concerts will occur every week in May on Wednesday or Thursday evenings in the Olin Park Pavilion and feature some of Madison’s favorite performers. The Woods Walks will take place on Saturday mornings in the adjacent Turville Woods Conservation Park and each walk will focus on a different aspect of the Park’s ecosystem and history.
