May 25 Steering Committee Meeting for RPG Proposal
The TLNA Steering Committee for Renaissance Property Group's proposal for portions of both the 200 East block of N. Blount Street and the 700 South block of E. Johnson Street will meet again on Wednesday, May 25, at 7:00pm in the Constellationís 2nd floor Community Room, 10 N. Livingston St.

RPG has revised the proposal and the committee reviewed the new version at their May 5 meeting. Notes and a sample of RPGís presentation slides from that meeting are available on the TLNA development site:

At the May 25 meeting the Committee will further evaluate the revised proposal and consider issuing summary findings to TLNA Council. If any neighbors would like to give input on the proposal, feel free to attend the Steering Committee meeting or comment via email.

Steering Committee Meeting for Summit/Stone House Proposal - Thursday, June 2
The TLNA Steering Committee for the development proposal by Summit Credit Union and Stone House Development for the eastern portion of the 1000 North block of East Washington Avenue will meet again on Thursday, June 2, at 6:30pm in the Constellationís 2nd floor Community Room, 10 N. Livingston St.

Please note the change of venue.

At the June 2 meeting it is anticipated that discussion will include the results of a traffic impact study commissioned by Summit. Representatives of City Planning and City Traffic Engineering are likely to be in attendance.

To celebrate Wisconsin Bike Week 2016, TLNA is sponsoring a refreshment stand at the corner of E. Mifflin/N. Paterson at Reynolds Park on Tuesday, June 7 from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Stop by for some coffee and treats.

Catch & Reel at Breese Stevens - Friday June 10
Spend Friday night at Breese Stevens Field at Catch & Reel this summer! This free Friday night fish fry and movie series will take place on June 10, July 15, and August 12. Gates will open at 7:00 PM with each movie beginning at 8:30 PM. Admission is free for the public.

Breese Stevens Field is hosting The Bodega, a free outdoor market, Thursday, June 23 from 4:00-8:00.

The Bodega will feature farmers, artisans, antique dealers, and craftsmen selling locally sourced goods and produce. Far from an average farmers market, The Bodega will also feature food carts, live music, and kidís games to ensure a family-friendly event for all. A vinyl record swap is scheduled and attendees are encouraged to bring their own vinyl to participate. A wide variety of local beers, and wine will also be available for purchase. The kidís area will feature a 60í long inflatable zip line for the enjoyment of kids of all ages.

Party in the Park - Saturday, June 25
Be sure to save some space on your summer calendars for fun with neighbors and friends in Reynoldís Park. The Tenney Lapham neighborhood block party will be in Reynoldís Park for a second time this summer. Join your neighbors for music, games, refreshments and fun on Saturday, June 25 at 1pm. If you have talents to share, time or products to donate, or enthusiasm for planning, please contact the coordinator Marta Staple at martastaple@gmail. com Letís Eat Out Madison plans to bring food carts to Reynoldís Park for dinner! A few food carts will be at the park once weekly for 8 weeks this summer, from 5-7:30 pm. Stay tuned for day of the week and details.

Picnic in Reynolds Park on Friday Evenings!

When the weather is nice, neighbors have made a regular habit of hanging out at Reynolds Park. Again this year, all are welcome to bring-your-own picnic (or grab dinner from a nearby restaurant) and join the casual gathering. Folks tend to start showing up around 5.

15th Annual Tenney-Lapham Art Walk - Sunday, June 26
On Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 1-5pm, you can experience Tenney- Lapham Neighborhoodís fifteenth annual Art Walk. Fourteen artists who live in our neighborhood will exhibit their original artwork. Look for a fuchsia-colored sign at each artistís house. For more information, call 608-256-6282.
