The TLNA Neighborhood Party is Saturday, July 31, 1pm – 5pm, on Paterson Street near the Cork N Bottle. The Cork N Bottle string band will be playing. There is wine tasting from 1-5 at the Cork and there will be food. There will be folks from Sustain Dane, MGE, Community Car, MACSAC, Dane County Time Bank, EnAct, and Focus on Energy to give neighbors ideas of how to build a sustainable neighborhood, one neighbor at a time. All proceeds will go to the Tenney Park Shelter.

The monthly meeting of the Tenney-Lapham Neighborhood Council begins at 7 p.m. in the community room of the Tenney Apartments, 302 N. Baldwin Street. RIDE THE DRIVE is a celebration of Madison’s commitment to healthy, active lifestyles. This community event is an invitation for all citizens to leave their cars behind to experience some of Madison’s most scenic byways a whole new way - by riding, walking, skating, or strolling along some of our city’s most beautiful streets.
The August 29th (12noon-4PM) program will be extended from 6-miles to over 11-
miles and will be the course for the Trek Bicycle Corporation, Trek Time Trials.
The Trek Time Trials (7AM-12noon) will pave the way for the August 29th RTD
with an early morning closed course race that welcomes professional and amateur
athletes to compete for best times. After which Trek sponsored athlete Lance
Armstrong will pilot the Ride the Drive opening ceremony by leading the first lap of
the course as it opens to the community to enjoy the
